Don’t think twice
Northumberland (UK) based band WE FOUND NEMO have been creating a stir with their ever growing group of admirers and took Newcastle’s o2 Academy by storm this week, winning the popular vote for best band.
These are only the ‘boys next door’ if you happen to live next to proto-punk song smiths.
Very British and uniquely…WE FOUND NEMO.

Elle Armstrong & Rod Giles

Elle recording session for "Satellite"
“Satellite” by Elle Armstrong
Written and performed by Elle Armstrong (18) ‘Satellite’ is her first recording from recent sessions where we teamed her with our own ‘Prince of the pinched harmonic’, Rod Giles, to create a worthy vehicle to carry this beautiful voice. What a pleasure it was to work with an artist who not only gets the job done but who also does it with such exquisite style. (I mean Elle, Rod
)
And a bit of magic happened! This is but one of those moments.
Known to everybody in her home town, Elle has already performed at the Carling Academy in Newcastle and may soon be playing on a radio near you.
Any inquiries can be made through this site if you would like to book her for your venue.
Elle’s talent speaks for itself in this beautifully haunting song.
Written & performed by Elle Armstrong.
BV’s Guitars & Programming by Rod Giles.
Produced by Mark Cocking & Rod Giles (S2S Productions)

The Wrecking Ball (by Russ Carroll)
Everyone around town knows wor’ Russ, local melodic-rock god extraordinaire and front man for Shanghai, now sadly no longer gracing North East venues.
I have had the pleasure of engineering and producing his forthcoming album and putting the world to rights at the same time with the ex-front man of the 1980s New Romantics “Secret Sam”.
Russ recently unveiled his new project and will be appearing during 2012 performing his new album, his older material and a few of the classics for which he is best known currently.
This track sets the scene for an album that encompasses everything from hard rock to a prog-rock lullaby.
This is ‘The Wrecking Ball’.

I have been asked recently to ‘describe’ the esoteric knowledge held by the Military/Industrial Cabal, but it’s not entirely possible. Any description would have to encompass subjective views like “The esoteric rock upon which an entire planet has been raped and sacrificed” or, “The Biggest Secret” whilst, at the same time, revealing enough ‘technical’ detail to engage a casual reader AND giving some insight into why any of this matters anyway.

Have you ever experienced a total eclipse of the Sun?
That magical moment where the Moon blocks out the Sun! But only just enough to perfectly cover the suns disc, whilst still allowing us to see the corona of light and other electromagnetic forces radiating from it.
This only happens because the Moon Diameter is exactly 1/400th the size of the Suns and is positioned at exactly 1/400th of the distance between Earth and the Sun!
So, when we see it from the surface of Earth, we are in the only place this can ever be seen, at the only time it could ever happen. What a truly incredible, indeed, beautiful ‘co-incidence’. How dare we pass it by!?

I was inspired to write this, the third part of ‘A Synthesis’ (See My Notes/Facebook), following encouragement and inspiration from others, and after identifying a specific need at a recent conference, as an attempt to coalesce the content of the previous parts. It is therefore best read in conjunction with them. Also, to suggest the way forward in a confusing forest of ‘realities’ for a ‘Truth Movement’ which is struggling with the enormity of its own truth, and screaming ‘What do we do now!?’ I propose an answer which already exists, as ‘potential’.

The three creative aspects have combined within the collective consciousness for long enough to permit wisdom to shine through. But how do we, the people of the UK, act upon our knowledge in unified wisdom? How do we confront an enemy which is so strong, powerful and ruthless, yet unidentifiable?

Illustrating the Hermetic Code

Illustrating the Law of 3
Illustrating the interaction of Passive, Active and Neutral energies, Pi and The Hermetic Code, The Pythagorean Comma and the historical biblical deception which empowers an evil church. Esoteric facts which have serious implications for the Truth Movement and NWO resistance.
I am hoping that, thanks to the hard work and motivation of some of the members of NE Truth, a film will soon be available.

Click here to listen to my interpretation of “Wild is the Wind”
From the 1957 movie of the same name, Wild is the Wind has become a modern day standard, covered by many including Bowie, Nina Simone and Johny Mathis.
My interpretation is for Acoustic Guitar and ‘Orchestra’ to provide a performable version for live performance.
The guitar was captured on analogue tape in the same inspired session (by Fred Prenderghast) as ‘My Death’ (also posted on this site) and is the best acoustic rhythm guitar performance I have ever had the pleasure to witness (being entirely live and near flawless) making this version quite unique. I was determined that one day I would use Fred’s guitar track to create a free form production. That day finally came.

If you go awayMSTR
Quite simply one of the greatest love songs ever written, and covered by Scott Walker, Shirley Bassey, Marc Almond and so many more.
Faced with a choice of doing a stripped down piano version similar to that performed by Brel in his live shows, or of creating an ‘orchestrated’ version, I opted for the latter and have again utilised sound patches created by the original electronic pioneers.
This interpretation features the early sounds of the Moog Synthesizer as created by Wendy (nee Walter) Carlos, Isao Tomita, Larry fast (Synergy), Vangelis, and Oskar Sala, among others. It also features my first ever Theremin performance! (The ’singing lady’, a trade-mark sound of the early work of Isao Tomita and reminiscent of the concert violin often used in early performances by Brel)
Produced and performed by Mark Cocking using:
MiniMoog, Mellotron 400D (Flutes), Theremin (Moog Etherwave), Piano and 1970s ‘Porn’ Wah Wah Guitar
Strings: by Miroslav Philharmonic Orchestra

The PersuadersMSTR
A legend in his own time, John Barry is responsible for some of the best known themes and songs in recent history. He was a great innovator being (among many other things) the first to use synthezisers in a film score.
I recall hearing ‘The Persuaders’ as a kid when it was the theme to the classic TV show The Persuaders and I loved it.
Who didn’t?
This, then, is my personal ‘groovy’ knod to a truly great composer utilizing the original early 70s synths used on the original.

WarszawaMSTR
In 1977 Bowie and Brian Eno created the groundbreaking album Low, which introduced electronica to the mainstream for the first time. It’s influence could never be understated.
I have recorded this cover version as an introductory piece to my live tribute set using the original instruments (as far as possible)

Click here to listen to excerpts from “Six Wives”

I was always a Rick Wakeman fan from his earliest ventures as a session player. This production is based on his arrangement, performed live in the early 70s, showcasing his, now classic, keyboards.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Rick many times over the years and have great memories of a night out in town after his show at the Newcastle City Hall in 1978. We talked mainly about the keyboards he was using, in between bouts of hilarity. He genuinely is a funny man, best known nowadays as a ‘grumpy old man’ from the TV series ‘Grumpy Old Men’, as well as a legendary rock god in his own time.
As one of the great synthesiser and keyboard pioneers, the instruments honed by him and others have become classics. I have used the same keyboards in this production, intended as an instrumental intro to the second part of the set (which is curiously expanding into a 70s and 80s rock and electro-fest). They give it a sound of it’s time methinks
This was just sheer indulgence! But fun…
Keyboards featured:
Mini-Moog: Mellotron 400D: RMI Electric Harpsichord: Piano: Hohner Clavinet: Hammond C3 Organ
